Dear Praying Friends,
Greeting from west Tennessee! We just arrived home after being gone since the middle of January. As we traveled home, Nina and I joked about how we had forgotten exactly which road would take us to our house. Although, we had sincerely forgotten how comfortable our own bed felt, but want to quickly say thank you to all of you who allowed us to sleep in your beds while traveling. The Lord has been so good to us through His people that we are overwhelmed at times. We will be home for one short week before leaving again for approximately 10 weeks. We have meetings scheduled in TN, GA, and AL again and are looking forward to seeing many of you soon. We praise the Lord for the meetings He has given us. We are thrilled that we are busy for His glory and honor. Each place that the Lord allows us to visit finds a special place in our hearts. Sometimes I wonder if there is enough room in my heart for all of the new friends and co-laborers, then I'm reminded that, “the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost...” What a wonderful, magnificient Lord we serve!
While on our last trip, the Lord saw fit to raise our level of monthly support to 28%. Praise His Holy Name! (Please help us pray that He will soon allow us to reach that 40% mark and eventually reach our goal of being on the field in January of 2008.) During January I was able to preach a mission conference in the church where I got saved. It was thrill and blessing for me, if for no one else. The church renewed its commitment to missions and graciously began supporting us monthly. Being in different churches almost each service, the Lord refreshed and deepened the burden we have for the Portuguese people. (Oh how badly we want to be there pointing souls to Jesus Christ.) We also know that God touched the lives of many and began to give them a similar burden for Portugal. Near the end of our most recent journey, we traveled to Columbus, GA where a wonderful church treated us far better than we deserve. We were treated nothing short of royalty, and for that we will be eternally grateful.
Besides traveling, preaching, and sharing our burden we are also busy with the other pieces of life, like homeschooling and potty training. Please pray that God would continue to give us the necessary grace for these things as we travel. Additionally, in an effort to help offset some of the large start-up costs that we will face prior to leaving for Portugal, we have begun to make preparation early for some things. We will soon process the paperwork for 6 passports. Nina and the children all need passports, which will cost around $500. Since several have expressed a desire to help with special needs we are including this in our prayer letter for your consideration. Please don't feel any obligation as we will share needs as they arise, but if you decide to help with this, simply note it on your gift. If you have internet access, take a look at our website - www.mbcportugalmissions.com. It is updated periodically with our goings-on.
Yours for Portugal,
The Andrzejewski Family
